Salary: $61 - $61.40 per hour

About the Role: The Patient Liaison Specialist serves as an advocate for patients, family members, and the healthcare team to enhance communication and patient/family satisfaction. This role identifies and resolves quality of care concerns expressed by patients and families, managing grievances efficiently and effectively.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Contact patients and family members to answer questions, follow up on concerns, and provide information
  • Investigate allegations of suboptimal care resulting in poor quality or harm
  • Strengthen the hospital's commitment to providing compassionate care to each patient

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred
  • Minimum one year experience in customer service or patient relations required
  • Nursing experience required; experience with Epic preferred
  • Minimum five years hospital-based experience or equivalent combination of education and experience working in Quality Improvement, Regulatory Compliance, and/or Patient Safety preferred
