Key Responsibilities

  • Assist users with technical troubleshooting over the phone, chat, or in person, providing timely and effective solutions to their technical issues.
  • Log interactions through our ticketing system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records of all support requests.
  • Research and implement solutions using available resources, such as the OIT Knowledge Base, to resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Direct and transfer calls coming from internal and external guests as Campus Operator, providing exceptional customer service and support.

Requirements

  • Candidate must be enrolled at the University of Nevada, Reno.
  • Candidate must demonstrate the ability to assist customers with common and uncommon technology-related issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Candidate has customer service experience, preferably in an information technology setting.
  • Candidate has familiarity with software, including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows, and Apple OSX/IOS.
