Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Support Technician I to join our team at Meruelo Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our employees, ensuring that our IT systems and infrastructure are running smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely and effective technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with computer hardware, software, and peripherals
  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, networks, and other IT infrastructure
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as backups and system monitoring
  • Assist with the implementation of new technologies and systems
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless integration of IT services
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other business applications
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with help desk software and ticketing systems
  • Knowledge of network protocols and security measures
  • Experience with cloud-based services and virtualization
  • Certifications in ITIL or other IT service management frameworks
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work in a climate-controlled environment with moderate noise levels. The successful candidate must be able to lift up to 25 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
