About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Store Manager to join our team at TJ Maxx. As a key member of our store leadership team, you will be responsible for assisting the Store Manager in the areas of Merchandising, Operations, Customer Service, and Human Resources.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Store Manager in developing and implementing sales strategies to drive business growth and increase customer engagement.
  • Oversee and manage the daily activities of the sales floor, backroom, front end, and cash office to ensure seamless store operations.
  • Lead and motivate a team of Associates to provide exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals.
  • Monitor and control loss prevention and operational programs to minimize losses and optimize store performance.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager to develop and implement training programs to enhance Associate skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Two (2) years' of retail leadership experience as an Assistant or Store Manager.
  • Excellent interpersonal, strong communication, and follow-through skills.
  • Proven ability to manage, develop, and motivate a large team.
  • Previous volume responsibility of $5 million or more.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a starting pay range of $23.25 to $29.70 per hour, which equates to approximately $57,947.37 to $74,023.09 annually.
