POSITION SUMMARY:
The Customer Support Specialist will play a crucial role in assisting the Insight Global staffing team with the recruitment and interviewing of candidates for various positions.
You will collaborate with a dedicated team focused on enhancing processes related to candidate sourcing, application evaluation, and process acceleration. Utilize both internal and external resume databases to identify potential candidates, leveraging referrals and other sourcing strategies. Once candidates are identified, the specialist will reach out via phone or in-person to inform them about the available positions, conduct initial phone screenings, and ensure a premium candidate experience to facilitate their formal application.
This position requires onsite presence five days a week, with a standard schedule of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the guidance of a member of the Insight Global Staffing team, you will:
- Conduct searches for new candidates that align with the provided job specifications.
- Assist recruiters and hiring specialists in posting job openings on various platforms, including job boards and community events.
- Screen resumes and applications from the applicant tracking system to identify candidates who meet the essential qualifications.
- Engage in brief phone screening conversations with potential candidates.
- Coordinate interview schedules with recruiters.
- Maintain accurate records regarding applicant statuses and ensure timely communication with all candidates.
- Support the organization of onsite hiring events and networking opportunities for candidates.
- Assist in the preparation of offer letters and facilitate the background screening process for selected candidates.
- Undertake additional projects and tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and verbal.
- An associate's degree or equivalent experience from a two-year college or technical institution; a minimum of one year of relevant experience is required.
- Demonstrated experience in high-touch customer service and follow-up.
- Preferred experience in warehouse recruiting or recruiting support; general recruiting support experience will also be considered.
- Familiarity with Oracle or other applicant tracking systems is highly desirable.
- Experience in sourcing candidates from resume databases and conducting phone screenings is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, along with strong internet research skills.
- A sense of humor, as this role can involve managing competing priorities.
Qualified candidates should be effective communicators who are comfortable engaging over the phone and possess strong technical skills related to internet usage and data research.
