Job Summary

The Housekeeping Manager is a key member of our hospitality team, responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of our guest rooms and public areas. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team of housekeeping staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of housekeeping staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are clean and well-maintained, meeting the highest standards of quality and cleanliness.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize waste.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as front desk and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and excellent guest service.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Manage inventory and supplies, including linens, cleaning products, and guest amenities.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in housekeeping or a related field, with a proven track record of leadership and management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality and excellence.
  • Physical ability to lift, push, and pull heavy objects, as well as stand for long periods of time.
