Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team at LCMC Health. As a Patient Access Representative, you will play a critical role in ensuring that patients receive timely and accurate care by managing the registration and admissions process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, guests, and family members, ensuring a positive experience throughout the registration process.
  • Collect and verify patient demographic, insurance, and financial information, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Register patients for services, including scheduling appointments, activating accounts, and initiating bed placement and transfers as needed.
  • Assist patients with understanding their financial obligations, setting up payment arrangements, and completing financial assistance applications.
  • Collaborate with clinical providers, case management, and other departments to ensure seamless patient care.
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in customer service or healthcare.
  • High school diploma or equivalent, or 2 years of applicable experience in lieu of education.
