Role Summary

The Sales Assistant plays a crucial role in bolstering the sales department. This position involves assisting throughout the entire product lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final production specifications. The ideal candidate will be adept at executing and overseeing projects as directed by management, ensuring that all initiatives are completed efficiently. The Sales Assistant will collaborate with various internal teams to prepare sales presentations, track inventory, process orders, and manage merchandising projects.

Key Responsibilities

Project Coordination

  • Assist the sales team in managing timelines and project requests.
  • Collaborate closely with design and merchandising teams to fulfill all creative requirements.
  • Organize and prepare all materials for sales presentations ahead of deadlines.

Order Management (Domestic & Import)

  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to accurately complete sales order documentation, ensuring consistency across all relevant documents.
  • Work alongside licensing teams to secure necessary approvals for all styles prior to production.
  • Help monitor inventory levels and track blank items.
  • Engage with the costing department to submit and obtain approved pricing for both domestic and import products, ensuring margin objectives are met.
  • Collaborate with Account Management teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.
  • Assist in resolving any issues that may arise regarding order timelines.
  • Utilize internal systems to request and procure product samples, partnering with both domestic and import teams to guarantee that product execution meets customer expectations.

Qualifications

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Self-motivated, confident, and energetic demeanor.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Availability for full-time work, Monday through Friday.
