Job Summary

The ECC Administrative Specialist will provide administrative support to the ECC Director and Assistant Director in the development and execution of day-to-day administration of the ECC office. This role will also assist parents in the office and support classrooms, including classroom coverage as needed.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and audit files for licensing compliance with state licensing standards and regulations.
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, copying, and mailing.
- Assist with classroom coverage as needed, including long-term coverage needs. Work with the Director to coordinate last-minute coverage needs.
- Assist the Director and Assistant Director in other duties as assigned.

Requirements

- 1+ year of classroom teaching experience with preschool and/or early elementary grades.
- 1+ year working in an office setting.
- Commitment to equity, diversity, environmental stewardship, and social justice.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge and understanding of Minnesota Department of Human Services standards for licensing.

- Attend required abuse risk management training.
- Adhere to procedures related to managing high-risk activities and supervising participants.

- Follow mandated abuse reporting requirements.
