Job Overview

The Center for Hope and Safety is in search of a dedicated Clinical Support Coordinator to assist individuals affected by domestic violence. This full-time position operates on a Tuesday-Saturday schedule, focusing on comprehensive clinical case management from initial assessment to successful transition into permanent housing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate client engagement in communal living arrangements, including the development of a weekly chore schedule that encompasses cleaning, organization, and recycling. Organize monthly meetings to discuss house policies and procedures, providing guidance as necessary.
  • Offer crisis intervention support to clients, including on-call assistance during emergencies.
  • Conduct client intakes and collaborate on goal-setting during their stay in Transitional Housing, formulating actionable and sustainable housing strategies.
  • Provide coaching and counseling to women on topics such as housing strategies, personal development, parenting skills, and child behavior management. Conduct group sessions on relevant subjects when feasible.
  • Utilize strong engagement and clinical skills to assist clients in achieving their goals and plans for safe, permanent housing; support clients in overcoming obstacles and fostering independence.
  • Engage in advocacy efforts as needed (e.g., legal, medical, and police support) in alignment with established goal plans. Encourage clients to access community services such as Housing Authority and Emergency Welfare.
  • Accompany clients during court appearances, welfare visits, and apartment searches.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Social Work or Human Services is required.
  • A minimum of one year of intensive, full-cycle case management experience is essential.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish is preferred.
  • A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for field visits are required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills are necessary.
