About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Care Management Support Specialist II to join our team at Centene Corporation. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting the delivery of high-quality care to our 28 million members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front-Line Support: Provide timely and effective support to members and providers on various inquiries, requests, or concerns, including explaining care plan procedures and protocols.
  • Member Onboarding: Assist with the onboarding process, including sending welcome letters, related correspondence, and program educational materials to facilitate a successful member/provider relationship.
  • Record Management: Document and maintain non-clinical member records to ensure compliance with state and regulatory requirements and provide necessary information to providers.
  • Resource Referral: Utilize knowledge of existing benefits and resources to make referrals and address Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) needs.
  • Administrative Support: Perform other duties as assigned, including maintaining accurate records and providing administrative support to the team.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1-2 years of related experience in healthcare operations or a related field.
