  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform general cleaning and janitorial duties in common areas, including restrooms and cafeteria.
  • Minor Repairs and Maintenance: Perform tasks such as replacing light fixtures, unclogging pipes, and ensuring heating and cooling systems are operational.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Mow and trim lawns, clean snow from sidewalks, and perform other related tasks.
  • Janitorial Room Maintenance: Maintain a neat and orderly janitor's room, ensuring cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.
  • Window Cleaning: Wash windows to ensure a clean and safe environment.
  • Safety Hazard Identification: Identify and report safety hazards to the lead custodian, principal, and/or school resource officer.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Background Check: Must pass a background check.
  • Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing, lifting, bending, stooping, climbing, reaching, and lifting up to 50 pounds at a time.
