Job Summary:

The Guest Service Agent at voco the Cadence is a vital member of the hotel team responsible for delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring a memorable experience for hotel guests. This individual will handle all guest interactions and inquiries, assist with check-ins and check-outs, and provide general assistance and support to guests during their stay. The Guest Service Agent will also collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless coordination of guest services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a warm and welcoming experience for guests upon arrival
  • Assist guests with the check-in and check-out process, including handling payments and resolving any issues that may arise
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely and professional manner
  • Offer information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to enhance the guest experience
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues efficiently and effectively
  • Ensure accurate and efficient processing of reservations and room assignments
  • Communicate with other hotel departments to fulfill guest requests and maintain a high level of guest satisfaction
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area and lobby at all times
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in hospitality or a related field preferred
  • Previous experience in a customer service or hospitality role preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with hotel reservation systems
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills a plus
  • Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time and lift up to 25 pounds
