As a Lead Teller at Harbor Bank of MD, you will play a crucial role in managing all teller operations while assisting with a variety of banking transactions. Your professional demeanor and courteous service will represent the bank effectively to our clientele. Additionally, you will handle the opening of new accounts, facilitate loan processing, and ensure adherence to security protocols and fraud prevention measures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver prompt and precise service to clients
  • Process deposits, withdrawals, and loan repayments
  • Open new accounts and clarify account options for clients
  • Conduct various account transactions
  • Receive payments on loan accounts
  • Assist clients with additional banking needs
  • Perform administrative tasks such as filing and preparing correspondence
  • Support fellow tellers in balancing transactions
  • Oversee teller operations and manage the vault
  • Assist with monthly reporting
  • Carry out other assigned duties as necessary
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Familiarity with online teller systems and office technology
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • One to two years of relevant experience in the banking sector
