Job Summary

This role is responsible for providing high-quality nutrition care to pediatric patients, working closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure integrated and compatible care. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pediatric nutrition, excellent communication skills, and the ability to function independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply the Nutrition Care Process to assess, diagnose, and treat pediatric patients with complex nutritional needs.
  • Develop and implement nutrition interventions, including enteral and parenteral nutrition support, to meet the unique needs of pediatric patients.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and healthcare staff on nutrition-related topics.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of nutrition policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in pediatric nutrition, with at least 2 years in a clinical setting.
  • RD/RDN certification and specialty certification in pediatric nutrition (CSP) or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to apply the Nutrition Care Process to complex patient cases.
