Job Summary

The Clinical Dietitian III plays a vital role in providing patient care that is integrated and compatible with the patient-focused medical goals and objectives. This position works closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure that nutrition care is delivered in a timely and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply the Nutrition Care Process (NCP) to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with nutrition-related needs.
  • Develop and implement nutrition interventions, including enteral and parenteral nutrition support, to meet the needs of patients.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, making adjustments to nutrition care plans as needed.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure that nutrition care is aligned with patient-focused medical goals and objectives.
  • Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers on nutrition-related topics.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in pediatric nutrition, with at least two years of experience in a clinical setting.
  • RD/RDN (Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist) credential from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' Commission on Dietetic Registration.
  • Specialty certification in pediatric nutrition or a related field.
