This role is responsible for providing high-quality nutrition care to pediatric patients and their families. The Clinical Dietitian II will work closely with the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop and implement individualized nutrition plans, conduct nutrition assessments, and monitor patient progress.
Key Responsibilities- Apply the Nutrition Care Process to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with various nutritional needs
- Develop and implement nutrition interventions, including meal planning and education, to promote optimal patient outcomes
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure comprehensive care and address patient concerns
- Mentor and train junior dietitians to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of nutrition protocols and patient education materials
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in dietetics, foods and nutrition, or a related field
- Minimum of two years of experience in pediatric nutrition or a related field
- RD/RDN (Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist) credential
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
