Position Overview: We are seeking a Senior Accountant to become an integral part of our expanding team. The Senior Accountant will oversee the preparation and maintenance of financial statements, records, and general ledger accounts, collaborating closely with the Assistant Controller and Controller.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage financial reports, records, and general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare journal entries, conduct analyses, and perform account reconciliations while assisting with monthly closing processes.
  • Contribute to the development and review of annual operating budgets and performance forecasts.
  • Maintain documentation for accounts payable and purchasing, and conduct internal audits.
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and ensure compliance with GAAP.
  • Analyze profit margins and ensure accurate allocation of revenue and expenses to the correct cost centers.
  • Assist with monthly sales tax and tire use tax responsibilities.
  • Support the Assistant Controller and Controller as required.
  • Participate in staff training and adhere to program policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
  • Possession of appropriate State and Federal Clearances.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Understanding of recovery principles and a recovery-driven service system.
  • Proficiency in Sage 300 and Excel.
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle crisis situations with composure.
  • Exhibit professional behavior consistent with the ARC mission when interacting with diverse individuals.
