Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Financial Assurance Analyst to become a part of our finance team. This position offers a unique chance for a financial expert with a robust background in the healthcare sector. The selected candidate will be tasked with ensuring financial accuracy and implementing necessary controls to uphold the integrity of financial data. The Financial Assurance Analyst will play a crucial role in enhancing financial transparency and accountability within our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage the month-end closing process to guarantee timely and precise financial reporting.
  2. Prepare and scrutinize consolidated financial statements and monthly reports to deliver insights into financial performance.
  3. Oversee the audit process, including the preparation of financial disclosures and liaising with external auditors.
  4. Maintain the general ledger, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
  5. Conduct equity reporting and support additional financial analysis as required.
  6. Establish and uphold financial controls to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  7. Collaborate with finance team members and stakeholders to promote financial transparency and accountability.
  8. Assist with various financial assurance projects as necessary.


Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field.
  2. 5+ years of experience in financial analysis or accounting, preferably within the healthcare industry.
  3. 1 to 3 years of experience in public accounting.
  4. Strong understanding of financial audits, statements, and disclosures.
  5. Demonstrated experience with month-end closing, consolidated financials, and monthly reporting.
  6. Solid grasp of general ledger management and equity reporting.
  7. Exceptional analytical skills, capable of interpreting complex financial data and providing valuable insights.
  8. Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
  9. Excellent communication skills, able to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
  10. Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
