Responsibilities


As a Financial Analyst, you will implement accounting procedures and principles that lead to the preparation of financial statements and analysis.

Your responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing financial statements
  • Conducting branch audit evaluations
  • Assembling bank reconciliations and account schedules
  • Preparing journal entries, expense accruals, and allocations
  • Participating in a timely and accurate month-end closing process
  • Assisting personnel with inquiries regarding accounting policies and procedures
  • Analyzing fluctuations in income statements
  • Providing process improvement and cost-saving suggestions
  • Managing financial records and assisting in financial reporting
  • Supporting budgeting and forecasting efforts
  • Conducting audits to ensure compliance
  • Collaborating with other departments
  • Handling Travel & Entertainment reports, coding, account classification, and reimbursement amounts
  • Preparing sales and other tax returns as needed

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following criteria:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Planning to obtain CPA certification within 1-2 years (flexible)
  • Consideration will be given to college students within 2 semesters of graduation with a degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Flexibility for potential career advancement, including relocation
