Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at Trilogy Health Services. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for preparing journal entries, completing financial analysis, and maintaining accounting and financial records.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and prepare intercompany transactions for the organization, including owned, joint ventures, and managed relationships.
  • Prepare and input journal entries with supporting documentation for home office, intercompany, joint ventures, debt, revenue, reserves, and other general accounting transactions.
  • Analyze and reconcile general ledger monthly and maintain supporting documentation for assigned accounts.
  • Provide accounting oversight for campuses participating in the Indiana IGT program, including preparing journal entries, reviewing financial statement trends, and coordinating with third-party hospitals for reporting and audit requirements.
  • Assist with administration of the chart of account and general ledger system updates/maintenance for organizational and reporting purposes.
  • Generate and distribute monthly financial and statistical reports to management and home office department leaders, and coordinate periodic financial reviews.
  • Manage and generate ad-hoc reports, and assist management with interpretation and analysis of such reports.
  • Review financial statements for proper accounting treatment of revenue and expense items.
  • Consult with Company personnel on accounting-related issues.
  • Provide training on accounting and related systems as needed.
  • Prepare audit schedules and other reports for external auditors.
Requirements
  • Four-year degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
  • Five to seven years of financial/accounting experience with a focus on budgeting.
  • Medicaid/Medicare experience preferred but not required.
  • Healthcare, senior living industry, or long-term care environment preferred.
  • Oracle Fusion, SmartView, or other fusion-based general ledger software products or equivalent preferred.
  • Exemplary computer skills, including knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
