Senior Associate, Private Equity, Tax

Location: Dallas, TX | Hybrid

Team Overview:

The Tax Division is responsible for the Company's daily tax operations, encompassing the preparation and submission of federal, state, international, income, sales and use, VAT, and various other tax filings. This division also manages all aspects of international tax reporting. The Tax team operates within the Finance department, headquartered in New York, NY, with regional offices in London, Sao Paulo, and Singapore.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and conduct initial review of Federal & State partnership tax returns utilizing Go System RIA
  • Calculate foreign tax withholding and prepare necessary tax forms
  • Prepare quarterly tax estimates and year-end projections
  • Prepare reconciliation of book to tax income

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of partnership tax experience with a primary focus on hedge or private equity funds
  • Familiarity with foreign reporting requirements is advantageous
  • Proficient in MS Excel and GoSystems
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a track record of meeting deadlines
  • Team-oriented, capable of prioritizing tasks and guiding team members, highly organized, detail-oriented, and adept at multitasking
