Position OverviewAs we grow our team, we are looking for skilled Associates, Managers, and Directors with extensive experience in back-office investment operations. The title and level of seniority will be based on individual qualifications and expertise. Directors are essential in steering client engagements, managing a variety of financial services, and fostering enduring client relationships.
Your Responsibilities- Deliver outsourced CFO and Controller services to investment managers, private equity, and venture capital clients.
- Oversee month-end and quarter-end reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely reviews of clients' NAVs.
- Lead the capital call and distribution processes efficiently.
- Facilitate new fund launches by managing tasks from reviewing legal documentation to onboarding service providers.
- Handle financial matters for management companies, including the preparation of financial statements, cash forecasts, and budgets.
- Coordinate annual audits and tax preparation for all client entities.
- Collaborate closely with external auditors, administrators, HR/payroll, and compliance teams.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements and assist in their execution.
- Provide operational support and guidance, serving as the primary contact for clients.
- Mentor and develop team members to ensure excellence in service delivery.
- At least 10 years of experience in alternative investment management, specifically in Private Equity.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a history of staff development.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is advantageous.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to excel in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience in establishing and refining processes and procedures.
- Solutions-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and team members.
- Commitment to promoting best practices and positively influencing organizational culture.
