Position Overview

As we grow our team, we are looking for skilled Associates, Managers, and Directors with extensive experience in back-office investment operations. The title and level of seniority will be based on individual qualifications and expertise. Directors are essential in steering client engagements, managing a variety of financial services, and fostering enduring client relationships.

Your Responsibilities
  • Deliver outsourced CFO and Controller services to investment managers, private equity, and venture capital clients.
  • Oversee month-end and quarter-end reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely reviews of clients' NAVs.
  • Lead the capital call and distribution processes efficiently.
  • Facilitate new fund launches by managing tasks from reviewing legal documentation to onboarding service providers.
  • Handle financial matters for management companies, including the preparation of financial statements, cash forecasts, and budgets.
  • Coordinate annual audits and tax preparation for all client entities.
  • Collaborate closely with external auditors, administrators, HR/payroll, and compliance teams.
  • Identify opportunities for process enhancements and assist in their execution.
  • Provide operational support and guidance, serving as the primary contact for clients.
  • Mentor and develop team members to ensure excellence in service delivery.
Qualifications and Experience
  • At least 10 years of experience in alternative investment management, specifically in Private Equity.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities and a history of staff development.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA certification is advantageous.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Experience in establishing and refining processes and procedures.
  • Solutions-oriented mindset with strong analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and team members.
  • Commitment to promoting best practices and positively influencing organizational culture.
