Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive growth and revenue for our Traction Division
- Lead a team of sales professionals to achieve sales targets and improve market penetration
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve sales targets and improve market penetration
- Create a unified 3-5 year key account strategy based on the strategic goals of the customer and market knowledge
- Develop new customers and OEM key interface to customers and End Users
- Bid & Offer Management - Technical and commercial bid preparation for traction power electronics proposals
- Represent ABB in industry associations, conferences, trade shows and industry networking events
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or related discipline
- 5-7 years Key Account Management Sales and related management experience with a track record of successful performance
- 10+ years of overall professional experience
- Railway market knowledge and technical understanding of power control systems
- Negotiation skills and Strategic thinking
- Business development experience, rail industry preferred
- Innovative sales approaches and proven in seeking and demand creation in competitive markets
- Able to deal with complex topics within international cross functional teams
- Strong communication skills with the ability to listen and interpret real customer needs
- Ability to travel in USA, Canada and Internationally on a regular basis
