Starting Pay: $22.00 per hour
Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 6:00 am - 2:30 pm, with weekends off
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operate various Meat Processing Machinery including CryoVac, MultiVacs, Dicers, Needles, Slicers, Portion Cutters, and Scales.
Accurately count and arrange meat portions on trays according to customer and company standards.
Affix product labels as instructed.
Prepare the packing and labeling area as necessary.
Execute end-of-day procedures.
Maintain and organize partial carts effectively.
Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the packing area, cutting room, and adjacent spaces.
Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) to uphold sanitary conditions.
Perform additional tasks as directed by management. SUPERVISION:
This role does not involve direct supervision of other staff.
WORKING RELATIONSHIPS
Internal: Collaborate with team members across various levels within the organization.
External: May be required to demonstrate cutting or packing processes for tours and sales initiatives. WORK ENVIRONMENT
Operate consistently in a refrigerated setting, maintaining temperatures between 35°F and 45°F. Must be capable of thriving in a dynamic production atmosphere. Completion of tasks may necessitate overtime, with or without prior notice. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Familiarity with CryoVac, MultiVac, Dicers, Needles, Slicers, Portion Cutters, or other meat processing machinery is advantageous. CERTIFICATION/TRAINING

Understanding of poultry, beef, lamb, and pork products is preferred.
Knowledge of USDA grading and standards is beneficial. EDUCATION

The expected compensation for this role is $22.00 per hour, with eligibility for overtime compensation.
