Role Summary:
The Senior Systems Test Engineer will oversee various technical aspects related to sea trials and the testing of ship systems. This role is crucial for ensuring the effective planning and execution of sea trials across multiple programs, including new construction and fleet support.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Serve as the primary technical liaison for sea trials preparation and execution on assigned contracts.
2. Collaborate with external and internal stakeholders, including government agencies and various shipyard departments.
3. Review contracts and specifications to ensure compliance with engineering and technical requirements.
4. Address logistical and technical challenges during trials.
5. Develop and validate engineering products related to sea trials.
6. Facilitate training sessions and briefings for internal and external audiences.
7. Support the scoping process for contract elements related to sea trials.

Qualifications:
Must have an ABET-accredited Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of relevant experience, or a Master's Degree with 3 years of experience. A Ph.D. is also acceptable with no prior experience.

Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with submarine and aircraft carrier systems.
- Experience interfacing with various departments and government entities.
- Knowledge of test procedure development and execution.
- Understanding of sea trials processes and preparations.
