Position Summary
VersaDesk is in search of a driven and passionate individual to fill the role of an experienced Sales Account Manager. This position is crucial for fostering business growth through the development and maintenance of strong customer relationships. As a vital member of our sales team, you will be tasked with generating leads, qualifying prospects, and successfully closing sales.

Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively engage with all stakeholders.
- Identify, bid on, negotiate, and finalize new sales opportunities to achieve and surpass established revenue targets.
- Provide insights to sales and marketing management regarding trends and changes within customer organizations.
- Make strategic recommendations to enhance VersaDesk's positioning with clients.
- Develop and maintain relationships with both new and existing customers to secure strategic advantages with decision-makers, expand business opportunities, and retain revenue.
- Create comprehensive account plans and strategies to acquire new business from various accounts.
- Deliver accurate and detailed weekly forecasts of identified and proposed opportunities to meet or exceed sales quotas.
- Understand each target customer's business model and organizational structure to identify their unique needs.
- Exhibit self-motivation, proactivity, and a results-oriented approach while working with minimal supervision.
- Enhance awareness of VersaDesk's value proposition and product portfolio across assigned accounts, clearly articulating our advantages over competitors.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of sales experience focusing on mid-market and enterprise-level corporations.
- Experience in sales within the SLED vertical is preferred.
- A strong passion for sales, complemented by excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven and motivated to meet sales targets while exceeding customer expectations.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive mindset.
- Exceptional presentation and negotiation capabilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.
- Proficient in using CRM software and other sales tools.
