Job Overview

The Liberty Group is seeking skilled individuals for the role of Apartment Maintenance Technician. This position is essential for ensuring that vacant apartments are prepared to meet market standards through effective repairs and enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare Vacant Units: Execute necessary repairs and improvements to make apartments market-ready.
  • Multitasking: Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently while prioritizing effectively.
  • Make-Ready Duties: Perform a variety of tasks including painting, vinyl tile installation, punch-out work, sheetrock repair, and trash removal.
  • Installation Skills: Experience in installing ceiling fans, wall sockets, and performing minor plumbing tasks is required.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Responsible for the upkeep of the property grounds and common areas.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to residents and address their needs promptly.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 6 months of relevant onsite experience.
  • Valid identification is required.
  • Reliable transportation is essential.
  • Possession of necessary tools for basic maintenance tasks.

Compensation: Hourly pay ranges from $16 to $19, depending on experience. This position is ideal for candidates with backgrounds in hospitality, rehabilitation, construction, or carpentry who are looking to transition into the multifamily housing sector.
