As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the physical well-being and curb appeal of our apartment community, including grounds cleanliness and maintenance of all aspects of the community and apartment units.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure Quality Maintenance: Troubleshoot and repair all aspects of the community and apartment units, including plumbing, electrical, heating/cooling, carpentry, appliances, painting, and drywall.
- Inspect and Maintain Units: Walk the community daily and inspect vacant apartments to ensure they are ready for occupancy.
- Complete Service Requests: Complete service requests in a timely and cost-efficient manner, including on-call emergencies.
- Maintain Community Appearance: Ensure the physical well-being and curb appeal of the apartment community, including grounds cleanliness.
- Collaborate with Team: Work together with the service team to keep on-site shops in order and coordinate with the supervisor to order supplies while maintaining the appropriate expense budget.
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience: 1+ year of residential maintenance or related experience, with 1+ year of experience in multifamily property management highly preferred.
- Certifications: HVAC/EPA Certification preferred.
- Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ability to create and maintain strong supplier partner relationships, team player with ability to work well with others, ability to work independently, prioritize duties, manage time efficiently, and multi-task.
