Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pastry Sous Chef to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the pastry department, ensuring high-quality products, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the pastry team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality desserts and pastries.
  • Develop and implement new pastry recipes and menu items.
  • Ensure efficient and effective use of resources, including ingredients, equipment, and staff.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the Pastry Chef to achieve culinary excellence and consistency.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a pastry leadership position.
  • Certification in a hospitality-related field or equivalent.
  • Strong understanding of baking and pastry techniques, production, and kitchen equipment.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
