POSITION SUMMARY

The Human Resources Data and Benefits Analyst is a vital contributor to the HR department's success. This role collaborates with leadership, business partners, and IT to ensure data accuracy and provide insightful analytics to support organizational objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Data Analytics

  • Gather and evaluate HR data and metrics to identify patterns and trends.
  • Support the development of data-driven HR policies and initiatives.
  • Create comprehensive reports and presentations for HR leadership.
  • Assist HR personnel in interpreting data for informed decision-making.
  • Maintain data integrity through regular audits and cleaning processes.
  • Design and manage dashboards utilizing data visualization tools.
  • Work with the IT department to establish data standards and protocols.
  • Assist with federal and state reporting requirements.

Benefits Administration

  • Research and manage healthcare plans and wellness initiatives.
  • Support the administration of benefits and retirement programs.
  • Ensure accuracy in benefits enrollment processes.
  • Facilitate the open enrollment process for employees.
  • Provide guidance to employees regarding benefits and enrollment.
  • Process documentation related to disability and leave of absence.
  • Address appeals and disputes concerning benefits programs.
  • Interpret and implement leave policies in compliance with applicable laws.
  • Coordinate investigations for reported workers' compensation claims.
  • Participate in wellness event planning and execution.
  • Analyze employee feedback to enhance wellness offerings.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • A bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources or a related area.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, preferably ADP.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Knowledge of relevant federal and state regulations regarding HR practices.
  • Ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Word.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Capacity to remain stationary for extended periods.
  • Some local travel may be required.
