Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Forecasting Lead to join our e-commerce team at Zinus Inc. This role will play a critical part in driving business growth through accurate demand planning and forecasting.

About the Role

The Sales Forecasting Lead will be responsible for owning and leading the demand planning process for a specific channel and category, creating a 24-month operational forecast throughout the life cycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Product, Marketing, Sales, and Finance teams to develop a consensus on operating and long-term strategic demand plans.
  • Develop and maintain business parameter inputs from Product, Sales, and Marketing teams to support statistical modeling.
  • Analyze and validate the quantification of new product introductions using historical data and market trends.
  • Identify and reconcile gaps between the demand plan and financial budget, driving appropriate actions from the Supply Chain, Business, or FP&A communities.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Retail sales and inventory management, Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative business discipline.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience in demand planning, preferably within a consumer goods industry (e-commerce).
  • Excellent analytical skills, strong communication skills, and high attention to detail.
  • Possess soft skills and ability to recruit, develop, and challenge direct reports.
Salary Estimate:

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
