Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by anticipating needs, showing empathy, and proactively addressing potential service challenges.
  • Engage with customers warmly, maintaining eye contact and assisting them in finding products.
  • Accurately handle transactions, including cash, checks, and credit card payments, while adhering to company protocols.
  • Ensure the sales floor is well-maintained by restocking items, processing vendor deliveries, updating pricing, and managing inventory as directed.
  • Assist with store opening and closing procedures as required.
  • Support various departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are stocked and operational with the latest services and tools.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy staff as needed, including working shifts in the pharmacy for growth opportunities.
  • Promote and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs that align with our mission of enhancing health.

Qualifications:

Applicants must be at least 16 years old.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain standing for extended periods.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 35 lbs, frequent lifting of up to 10 lbs, and regular movement of objects, including overhead lifting.
  • Close visual acuity for tasks such as reading and inspecting small details.

CVS Health requires all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, including any necessary booster shots, unless a reasonable accommodation is approved based on disability, medical condition, or religious belief. Proof of vaccination must be provided within the first 10 days of employment.

Preferred Experience:

Prior experience in a retail or customer service environment is advantageous.

Education:

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
