Job Summary

The Assistant Store Manager plays a vital role in the success of Spirit Halloween by supporting the Store Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store. This includes staffing, setup, merchandising, pack-up, and teardown of the store.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in the overall operation of the store, ensuring maximum sales and profitability.
  • Establish and maintain Guest Services, developing staff, controlling expenses, shrinkage, and all aspects of merchandising and inventory control.
  • Assist in the recruitment, training, and development of store staff.
  • Monitor and maintain store appearance, including visual merchandising and display.
  • Assist in the management of store inventory, including receiving, stocking, and maintaining inventory levels.
  • Support the Store Manager in the management of store finances, including cash handling and reconciliation.

Requirements

  • Minimum age requirement is 18 years old.
  • Flexible schedule required.
  • Prior retail management experience is required.
  • Ability to stand and walk for 8+ hours per day.
  • Ability to climb ladders, set up fixtures, and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
