Executive Book Acquisitions Editor

About the Job:
This role requires a highly skilled editor with a strong understanding of the business media landscape and excellent communication skills. You will have the chance to work on a wide range of topics, from personal finance to leadership, and develop your skills as an editor and publisher. You will also have the opportunity to build relationships with authors and agents across the industry and contribute to the success of our publishing program.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and acquire new book projects
- Work closely with authors and agents to develop and edit manuscripts
- Collaborate with publicity and marketing teams to promote titles
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of the modern media landscape and especially the business media
- Contacts with agents who specialize in business books
- At least 5-7 years of experience in media of any kind
Salary Range: $80,000 - $150,000 per year
