Job OverviewThe Guest Services Representative plays a vital role in ensuring a seamless check-in and check-out experience for guests at the hotel. This position involves utilizing the property management system to efficiently manage guest transactions, process payments in accordance with hotel policies, and deliver exceptional customer service to all visitors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet guests warmly and professionally, ensuring a positive first impression.
  • Handle guest registrations, issue room keys, provide detailed information about hotel amenities, and respond to phone inquiries promptly.
  • Maximize hotel revenue by promoting room upgrades and additional services.
  • Process all financial transactions accurately, including posting charges, completing reports, preparing deposits, and managing cash drawers.
  • Manage guest safe-deposit boxes with care and attention.
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding any guest requests or issues that require further attention.
  • Address guest complaints with professionalism and implement service recovery strategies to ensure satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • 1-2 years of experience in customer service.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Basic computer skills, including proficiency in email, word processing, spreadsheet software, and hotel management systems.
