Position Summary:
We are in search of a Financial Reporting Analyst to enhance our team in Scottsdale. This role is pivotal in the preparation of financial statements and reporting processes. The analyst will assist in the development of budgets and forecasts, along with engaging in special projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of GAAP-compliant financial statements, including Balance Sheet, Statement of Operations, Statement of Cash Flows, and Statement of Changes in Stockholders' Equity.
  • Collaboration with the Corporate Accounting team to draft related footnotes in line with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Support in the preparation and review of financial statements and disclosures for SEC filings, such as Form 10-K and 10-Q.
  • Manage the distribution of financial reports and analyses utilized by management to assess financial performance, aiding in the preparation of consolidated financial statements.
  • Compile monthly reporting packages that encompass a complete set of financial statements along with analytical reviews explaining significant variances.
  • Actively engage in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
  • Participate in strategic planning, target setting, and the annual/quarterly planning processes.
  • Provide technical accounting support, including research and application of new and proposed accounting, reporting, and disclosure standards promulgated by GAAP and the SEC.
  • Ensure compliance with required SOX controls documentation for assigned areas.
  • Assist with audit processes.
  • Engage in special projects as assigned and fulfill other accounting duties as necessary.

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is required; CPA designation is preferred.

Experience:
A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience is necessary, ideally including public accounting or a similar role.

Skills:
  • Proficient in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Experience with GAAP and SEC filings is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with consolidations and consolidating financial statements.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy in work.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with vendors, colleagues, managers, and other departments.
  • Capacity to influence change and lead those resistant to it.
  • Quick decision-making skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and strong written communication skills.
