Role Summary:

The Senior Financial Analyst will serve as a key resource in financial planning and analysis. This individual will deliver financial insights and forecasts to the Finance team and will be tasked with scrutinizing data that informs decision-making and strategic planning. The Senior Financial Analyst will generate precise monthly financial reports, assist in crafting presentations that offer insightful analysis, pinpoint action items, and effectively articulate decisions that require attention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver FP&A financial support to the Finance teams concerning productivity, demand forecasting, reporting, and financial metrics.
  • Develop budgets and forecasts, conduct variance analyses, long-term planning, risk/opportunity assessments, and periodic/ad hoc reporting.
  • Identify and comprehend business challenges; propose and implement solutions.
  • Engage in corporate projects and initiatives that influence the entire organization.
  • Collaborate with the Finance team during the closing process, which includes reviewing departmental general ledgers, recording transactional activities, preparing revenue and expense accruals, and providing explanations for P&L and cash variances against budgets and forecasts.
  • Spot areas for revenue enhancement and cost reduction.
  • Act as a Finance liaison to departments by closely collaborating with them to understand their operations, support their initiatives, and address general financial inquiries.
  • Investigate and analyze variances related to forecasts, budgets, and prior-year expenditures.
  • Assist in streamlining the consolidated reporting process.
  • Conduct necessary account and system reconciliations.
  • Review financial reports, presentations, and other management reporting requirements.
  • Provide ad hoc business reporting and analysis as required.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
  • A minimum of four (4) years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
  • Experience in a mature organization that has undergone significant growth.
  • General understanding of accounting and financial principles.
  • Proficient in developing financial reports and metrics; data-savvy.
  • Skilled in web-based technologies and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to effectively utilize financial software.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, capable of engaging with various stakeholders and different management levels.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and adept at managing multiple competing priorities.
  • High commitment to quality work, organizational ethics, integrity, and compliance.

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in the healthcare sector is advantageous.
  • Ability to navigate ambiguous situations without clear solutions.
  • Effective time management skills.
