POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Financial Consultant is an integral part of the Financial Planning & Analysis team at The Ladders.

This role supports the VP of Finance and operational managers in designated divisions, as well as the Corporate Finance team.

Responsibilities will encompass various tasks to assist the division VP of Finance:

preparation of the division's annual operating plan, monthly cash flow and P&L forecast updates, monthly facilitation of project job cost budgeting, quarterly P&L and cash flow variance analysis, financial analysis of home starts, backlog, and closings, collaborating with operational managers to enhance processes, and preparing internal operational reports and external joint venture reports.

Additional duties may involve assisting with the analysis of land acquisition opportunities, evaluating home pricing, and conducting other ad-hoc analyses and projects as required.

Experience in consolidating data from multiple systems in Excel, independently analyzing business challenges, and presenting recommendations clearly and concisely is essential.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Engage in the preparation of the Annual Operating Plan and monthly updates of cash flow and P&L projections.
  • Facilitate job cost budgeting alongside operational managers.
  • Prepare and update Selling, General & Administrative expense budgets.
  • Generate financial and operational reports.
  • Provide corporate reporting & analysis.
  • Ensure data integrity.
  • Address ad-hoc requests & deliver analysis to support operational managers.
  • Continuously seek process improvements.
  • Exhibit professionalism.
