Assistant Construction Project Coordinator

**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Assistant Construction Project Coordinator to support the successful delivery of commercial construction projects across multiple regions. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual looking to work on projects ranging from $1M to $25M.
About the Company
Our client is a leading construction firm with a strong portfolio of commercial projects spanning Westchester County, Hudson Valley, Northern New Jersey, New York City, and Connecticut. With a reputation for quality and a steady pipeline of new work, they are involved in a diverse range of projects that are either already underway or breaking ground imminently.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in coordinating all aspects of commercial projects, from planning to execution.
- Help manage schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure projects remain on track and within scope.
- Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to resolve issues and keep all stakeholders informed.
- Support in the preparation and review of project documentation, including RFI's, submittals, and change orders.
- Monitor project progress, making sure that the work adheres to timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in construction project coordination, preferably with commercial projects.
- Familiarity with construction documentation, scheduling, and cost control methods.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented and highly adaptable, with a commitment to delivering quality results.
- Collaborative team player who is eager to learn and take on more responsibility over time.
Compensation and Benefits
