We are currently seeking a highly skilled Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will be responsible for coordinating appointments, managing patient records, and ensuring the smooth running of our practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Greet patients warmly and professionally
  • Register patients accurately and efficiently
  • Assist patients with completing necessary forms and documentation
  • Maintain accurate patient information, including billing details
  • Inform patients of medical office procedures and policies
  • Manage patient records effectively
  • Coordinate appointments and move patients through scheduled timeslots
  • Answer incoming calls and handle inquiries promptly
  • Transfer calls as required
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage waitlists
  • Collect co-pays and payments in a timely manner
  • Retrieve external medical reports as needed by our radiologists
  • Respond to requests for information and complete other administrative tasks
  • Maintain a clean and organized reception area
  • Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and diagnoses
  • Familiarity with computer software applications and general administrative procedures
  • Working knowledge of healthcare insurance preferred
