Market Insights Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Market Insights Director to lead our company-wide Win/Loss and customer-based analytics program. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering actionable insights, programs, and strategic tools that empower our sales team during the pursuit process.
Key Responsibilities- Drive Sales Pursuit Win/Loss Intelligence Program
- Develop and execute a multi-channel approach to gather insights from prospects, customers, and deal team personnel.
- Analyze data from internal CRM data sets and utilize third-party agencies as needed.
- Execute Customer Segmentation Analysis
- Identify trends and key insights specific to our customer install base across attributes such as company composition, size, industry/sector, and geographies.
- Provide Analysis and Actionable Insights
- Improve win rates within targeted sales segments, including large-scale and hybrid IT strategic sales efforts.
- Deliver Market Insights Reporting
- Provide monthly/quarterly reporting with market insights for sales management and key cross-departmental executives.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams
- Work with Product, Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Service Delivery teams to drive action and improve the sales pursuit process.
- Develop Sales Enablement Materials
- Incorporate market insights into sales enablement and customer-facing materials in partnership with Product and Marketing.
- Identify and Leverage Intelligence Channels
- Utilize internal and external intelligence channels to inform the overall program.
- Provide Direct Deal Support
- Offer direct deal support upon request.
- Perform Ad-Hoc Research and Analysis
- Conduct research, analysis, and reporting as required.

- Bachelor's Degree
- In technology, business, analytics, or a related field of study.
- 8-10 Years of Experience
- In market analysis, sales operations, or competitive analysis within the B2B IT Services or Enterprise Software markets.
- Strong Knowledge of the Competitive Landscape
- Within the data center services market, including colocation, network/interconnection, and cloud hosting.
- High-Level Detail Orientation
- Strong organization, research, analysis, and data translation skills.
- Relationship Development
- The ability to develop and grow relationships across the organization.
- Communication Skills
- Written and verbal communication skills to present relevant information across all levels of the organization.
- Leadership and Management
- A demonstrated track record of accomplishment in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to manage multiple projects and tasks concurrently.

- High-level proficiency in Salesforce, Microsoft Office software applications, as well as other analytical software and systems.
