Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled AV Technology Support Specialist to join our team at Yorktel Corporation. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal functioning of all AV conference technology at our customer locations.
This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading provider of video managed services, supporting some of the world's largest business and government agencies. As an AV Technology Support Specialist, you will have the chance to utilize your technical expertise to deliver exceptional user experiences and build strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule Maintenance: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on A/V technologies in conference spaces to ensure they are always available for use.
- Room Checks: Conduct regular room checks to identify any potential issues and address them before they become major problems.
- User Support: Provide expert-level support to our customers, including troubleshooting issues, configuring VTC systems, and establishing connections with remote users.
- Training and Documentation: Develop and maintain user documentation, quick reference guides (QRGs), and provide training to customers on the use of collaboration technology.
- Inventory Management: Manage and track equipment inventory, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field.
- 5+ years of experience supporting/troubleshooting/installing video conferencing and audio/video technologies, including Zoom, Webex, Google Meets, BlueJeans, Cisco, Poly, Microsoft Teams, and other SIP/H323 video conferencing endpoints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $90,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
