Veterinary Technician, Oncology, Ethos Veterinary Health

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Technician to join our Oncology team at Ethos Veterinary Health. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our clients and their pets.
Key Responsibilities- Assist veterinarians in oncology procedures and treatments, ensuring the highest level of care and compassion for our patients.
- Monitor patients during chemotherapy and radiation therapy sessions, providing a safe and comfortable environment.
- Provide exceptional patient care and support to both patients and their owners, building strong relationships and trust.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and prepare samples for analysis, utilizing your technical skills and knowledge.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with protocols, upholding the highest standards of quality and safety.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry, with a preference for RVT license.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interface with staff and clients using tact, patience, and professional courtesy.
- Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices, and estimates.
- Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP), or obtain within 60 days of hire.
