Field Services Technician Overview

The company's expanding network is now based in Kansas City, serving communities across five Midwestern states.

Position Overview: The Field Services Team represents the face of Mercury Broadband, ensuring professionalism in both demeanor and appearance while addressing customer needs. Team members are expected to be thorough and attentive, adhering to installation protocols and safety standards as directed by the Field Team Leader.

Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive Pay - $20.00/hr based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install broadband equipment at customer locations
  • Engage with subscribers, representing the company professionally
  • Configure and connect customer equipment to the Mercury Network
  • Troubleshoot issues with broadband customer equipment
  • Support the sales team with localized marketing initiatives

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Adhere to cabling procedures for residential and commercial installations
  • Comfortable working in various environments, including elevated and confined spaces
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools
  • Proficient in basic computer skills
  • Understanding of computer networking principles
  • Ability to use PC applications for programming and diagnosing communication equipment
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Self-motivated and customer service-oriented
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
