Job Description

Furniture Mall of Kansas is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales floor team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our guests, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Customer Service: Respond to customer inquiries, resolve issues, and provide solutions in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Sales Floor Support: Assist customers with product information, answer questions, and make recommendations to drive sales.
  • Cash Handling: Process transactions, handle cash, credit card payments, and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory levels, restock shelves, and report any discrepancies to management.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with sales team members to achieve sales goals, provide support, and maintain a positive work environment.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required
  • Customer Service Experience: 1+ year of experience in a customer-facing role
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional manner
  • Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with sales team members to achieve sales goals
