Role Summary: The Field Services Team at Mercury Broadband represents the company to its customers. This team is expected to maintain a professional demeanor and appearance while being attentive to customer needs. Field Services personnel must be diligent and meticulous in their tasks, adhering to installation and safety protocols as well as following directives from the Field Team Leader.

Position Details:

Compensation: Competitive Pay - $20.00/hr based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install broadband equipment at customer locations
  • Engage with subscribers while representing the company professionally
  • Configure and connect customer equipment to the Mercury Network
  • Troubleshoot issues with broadband customer equipment
  • Support the sales team with localized marketing initiatives

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Adhere to cabling procedures for residential and commercial installations
  • Comfortable working in various environments, including ladders, roofs, attics, and confined spaces
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
  • Familiarity with hand and power tools
  • Proficient in basic computer skills
  • Understanding of computer networking principles
  • Ability to use PC applications for programming and diagnosing communication equipment
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Self-motivated and customer service-oriented
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
