Job Description

Preston Companies is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful execution of projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review project plans, specifications, and soils reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and foremen to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Assist in the preparation of purchase orders, subcontract agreements, and logs.
  • Verify quantities with inspecting agencies daily and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Coordinate with project managers to submit close-out documents, including as-builts, warranty letters, and O&M manuals.
  • Monitor project progress and identify potential issues to ensure timely completion.
  • Collaborate with the project team to ensure a successful project outcome.
Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of construction principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction software.
