Job Summary

Stanford University is seeking a highly skilled Relationship Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Industry Relations department, you will be responsible for fostering and managing complex, high-value partnerships between the School of Medicine and pharmaceutical and life science companies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive partnership strategies to drive innovation and growth in the healthcare industry.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including industry leaders, faculty, and staff.
  • Facilitate meetings and negotiations to drive recommendation consensus and ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Oversee the contract process and ensure timely execution of projects.
  • Report back metrics and dashboards to key constituents and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and ten years of progressively responsible, relevant project management experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to organize work and manage multiple projects.
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills to address a wide variety of audiences.
  • In-depth knowledge and understanding of university operations, administration, community, and mission.
  • Ability to productively assemble, engage, and lead cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Completion of a Project Management Certificate program.
Working Conditions

This position requires frequent travel locally and cross-university. The expected pay range for this position is $179,000 to $197,000 per annum.
