About the Role

Stanford University is seeking a highly skilled Sr. Technical Project Manager to join our Network Engineering Team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading complex projects, managing budgets, and ensuring the successful implementation of various initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead planning and analysis for complex Network Engineering Programs
  • Manage and direct the development, implementation, administration, and evaluation of various programs within the Network Engineering Team
  • Develop and execute an impactful outreach strategy to promote collaboration and engagement with various parties
  • Manage budgets, analyze finances, and report on financial aspects of the Network Engineering programs
  • Evaluate and assess the strengths and weaknesses of the Network Engineering programs
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree, plus 10 years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience desired
  • Significant experience managing highly technical IT Infrastructure Projects, specifically in the areas of Network, Data Center, Construction activities, and other technical areas
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong leadership abilities, including the ability to motivate and develop staff, resolve conflicts, and make informed decisions
  • Proven project management success, with a track record of successfully implementing projects
